Tue, 22 May
Paul writes: The law of the Spirit, which gives life in Christ Jesus, has set you free from the law of sin and
Jesus said: What is born of the Spirit is spirit. The wind blows where it pleases: you hear
its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with those who are born of the Spirit.
Thu, 24 May
Human compassion extends to neighbours, but God’s compassion extends to everyone.
Fri, 25 May
writes: Forgive one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Sat, 26 May
Jesus said: Do not worry
about your life. Seek first God’s kingdom and God’s saving justice and all other things will be given to you as
Jesus said to his disciples: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given me. Go therefore
and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
Mon, 28 May
Trick the cares that weigh upon you, console
your heart, chase sorrow far away, for sorrow is of no use to anyone.
Tue, 29 May
All your commands are
trustworthy, Lord; help me, for I am persecuted without cause. True to your faithful love, give me life.
My Daily Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sin,
the union of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops and all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular
for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.
A Prayer for Families
We bless your name O Lord for sending your own incarnate Son, to become part of a family, so that as he lived its life,
he would experience its worries and its joys. We ask you, Lord, to protect and watch over this family, so that in the strength
of your grace its members may enjoy prosperity, possess the priceless gift of your peace, and, as the Church alive in the
home, bear witness in this world to your glory. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
