Thinking of our dear Catherine sister's 1st Anniversary with the Lord. (May 19).

When God brought all ten of us in our family together he gave his love and blessing and encouraged it to grow wherever we were and how older we grew. All along our journey we were all guided by his hand in unity, peace and harmony. All through life's twists and turns you always had a wise word and a smile and took it up as God's will. So humble you were and so childlike and saw the good things in everything. Thank you sister for your guidance, care and love you gave to anyone freely.

Our sporty darling sister, I miss you in person but we know you are up there and celebrating with the Lord and blessing us from above. His richest joys are yours in abundance always.

I remember your consoling words to me when ever I called, you said "I am always here for you in thought and in prayer,in person. Whenever you need me, I'm here". With this beautiful thought in my mind I quieten my tears.

As you celebrate the 1st Anniversary with the Lord and the love he has given you to share with us all, what a blessing it is to be your brothers and sisters.

MRS. CATHERINE A. KATTAR’S  1st. ANNIVERSARY OF THE ENTRY INTO HER HEAVENLY ABODE

                                                             ( (10-05-2017)

Dear Rev. Fathers, Rev. Sisters, all our dear relations and friends,

Today we welcome you, for a special Mass for the First anniversary of our dear Catherine A.Kattar’s First Birthday in Heaven.

Her God given long life of 90 years proved a special daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.P.S. S. A. Kattar. Though young, in her teen age, she took care of the family and spent days and months in the hospital to look after her father during his last stage of life.

Catherine’s loving fidelity, in keeping her marriage commitment with late Mr. Francis A. Kattar, for more than 50 years, speaks of her golden quality of love, generosity, sacrifice and tenderness. Also the way she responded to circumstances, events, and persons who came their way made her family life a success. May she be a model to the younger generation.

She was a wonderful loving mother to her 5 children and their children and grands who were fondly cared and they too were very much attached to her till the end.

She was a special sister to her 9 siblings.  Each member will recall her readiness to support them in their needs. Her unique character which calls us to remember that  she kept every January 1st a special family get-together for all her kith and kin and she hosted the 1st. day lunch at her home. This created a great union of family members. It was a day of blessing for each and every one of us.

There is no doubt she was a real Christian friend to all her neighbors of interfaith and loved to serve the poor and the needy.

THORNTON Wilder says,” THE HIGHEST TRIBUTE TO THE DEAD IS NOT GRIEF, BUT GRATITUDE”

We thank God for blessing us with Catherine our Mother for what she was and what she is today in the presence of God. May she rest in the Lord with all her dear ones who have gone before her.

Let us participate fervently in this Holy Eucharist and offer our tribute to the Merciful God to embrace Catherne in his arms.

Memorial of St. John, Pope and Martyr.
Birthday of St. John Paul II.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Our dearest and beloved Catherine sister/akka,

The years you were with us were shorter than we expected, but it was rich and fulfilling time. Missing you is the hardest part, as it never goes away, You couldn't have been a better and kind daughter, a loving and devoted wife to Athan (SFA) and a wonderful mother to all.

We wish you could have been with us longer, but we are thankful for the beautiful memories you gave us all as you filled our lives with your love. To hear your voice, to see your smile, to sit with  you and to talk with you for a while, to receive and give you hugs and your loving kisses would be our greatest wish,

There were tears of sadness when you left us, but we know you are in a better place as you have found Eternal Rest in Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Although you are not here, you are still with us in our hearts and minds. Today, tomorrow, our whole life through we will always remember you.

Always cherished and deeply loved by your sisters, brother, all children, all grandchildren, great grand children, godchildren including dear Milo, and all your loved ones and family members, relatives and friends, priests and religious.
